Promenade Dress Drift

I stumbled upon the Karma East brand in a funky little store in Cygnet Tasmania. There was one dress on sale, I tried it on, it fitted very well - I'm an odd shape by the way, and it felt 'home'. It is the beautiful Frankie Dress. LOVE the quality in the fabrics and workmanship is outstanding. I NEVER buy clothes online because of my shape but since Frankie is perfect, how could I not buy more! I've since purchased the Promenade Dress in Henna, easy to wash and wear. Had to get another Frankie Dress in Amethyst and why not a Corduroy Jacket in Plum Caspia to match. Very grateful to receive a Long Sleeve Stretch V-neck Top in Dark Purple to layer under. I love how I can layer with the dresses! I am very impressed with the fast order and items are packed in a sweet cloth bag I can use again and again or re gift. I really wanted the jacket for an event on the Gold Coast last weekend, it arrived in time yay! I had many comments on my outfit and had great joy in saying, "check out Karma East online". It’s a very comfortable dress that suits my figure, as it is able to hide my tummy and is flattering.

I love, love, love this dress! I am 5'2" and I weigh 180 lbs. I ordered the XL size 16 and it fits perfectly. Light, comfortable, no binding or pulling. A smidge long but I like the look and I will not
need to hem it up. Looks great with a cardigan. I can't wait for warmer weather! I will be purchasing more items from this site!

This is a more casual dress, but its great and versatile for everyday use.

I have 4 Promenade dresses in different colours.
This is my least favourite because for some reason the fabric in this one isn't as soft and flowy as the others. Washes ok though and doesn't really need ironing unless you are pedantic about these things!

This dress is so light and cool. I love the summery colour. Washes well, I just shake it and dry it on a hanger and don't need to iron it. I have 4 of this style! Very happy!

Like the fit of this dress, may yet shorten it a little! I bought the large in Dahlia, but really liked the Cranberry version (was thinking it was too close in colour to my Frankie dress) Hmmm…… now have three Karma East dresses and they always get commented on.

I love being able to buy dresses that fit and are so well made, thank you Karma East! I have bought quite a few dresses and they always fit well and are very comfortable to wear. The fabric in this promenade dress is a lovely cool cotton which is not see-through so no slip is required! I have a larger bust so was glad I checked the size information before ordering. I usually order 2xl but for this dress I ordered 3xl and it is just right. For me, 2xl would have been gaping at the bust.

I didn't think I would love another dress as much as the Frankie, but I am in love with the Promenade. Cotton is so cool, fantastic for the summer climate, pockets - YAY!, sleeves long enough to hide the tuckshop arms, ties to cinch in the waist. Can be worn casually or done up for night time. I purchased the cranberry dress but think I am going to have to buy every pattern.
