This Maxi Dress is a Perfect fit!

I love everything I have purchased. You will love anything you buy on Karma East too! This Dress is one of my favourite dresses, but I still love them all. It is a bit see-through in the sun, so you'll need to wear a slip or short leggings under it. I'm normally a size 12, but I purchased the L/14 because I don't like dresses to be tight around the tummy area, it fits perfectly.

Forest Flower Tiered Maxi Dress

Love the colours, design and the light weight voile fabric. I got the maxi length so I could make a self fabric waist tie and also looks good with a brown belt. I like the maxi length on others but the midi length suits me more. I've also changed the buttons to brown buttons to match my belt and boots.

What I was looking for with one exception

Given that this dress is a little more roomy than other more fitted dresses by Karma East, I bought the size S (I'm usually a 10-12 in dresses depending on whether they're less or more fitted) and it fits perfectly everywhere, including around the top of my arm, except under the arms where it's a little bit tight. I do tend to have issues with dresses with sleeves being too tight around my arms (because I actually have biceps) but the Vivian dress in the same size fits perfectly around/under my arms. I have a little experience at sewing so am going to try and alter the depth of the armhole myself to make it less tight because I really would like to wear this dress all the time during the change of season in Melbourne!

I’m in love!

I just received this dress and put it on for a perfect fit. I am 5’4” and I probably will take it up an inch or two just so that it’s not too long for me. I don’t want to step on it. But I was wearing it when I had a conference call with a group in India. The first thing out of three women’s voices was, “I love your Indian fabric dress!
